Strong Winter Storm Pummels the Central U.S.

Blizzard and winter storm conditions are expected across a large portion of the Central Plains through Monday. Wintry precipitation will expand into the Middle Mississippi Valley on Monday as the storm system pushes eastward. The threat for severe weather will shift to much of the Gulf Coast for Monday. Heavy rainfall leading to flash flooding is possible for portions of the southeast.
