Topics: Relationship Violence and Sexual Exploitation
Young victims of relationship violence and sexual exploitation suffer physical injury, psychological trauma, isolation from family and friends. The Family and Youth Services Bureau's Family Violence Prevention and Service Program supports a network of community-based shelters and nonresidential services that offer safe housing, advocacy, legal assistance, counseling and other services to individuals working to escape relationship abuse and sexual exploitation. NCFY's resources explore teen dating violence, family violence, commercial sexual exploitation of young people and other areas of interest to youth workers.
