Culinary Arts
Hosted in partnership with Guam Community College, this official ProStart affiliated event showcases the culinary exploits of student teams representing six DoDEA Pacific high schools as they put their culinary knowledge and skills to the test. This competition is host to two “state” champions, the Guam Culinary champion and the DoDEA Pacific champion. Students from both competitions work side by side during the final event. With one hour to prepare a three course meal, teams of four are judged on knife skills, team work, sanitation, menu presentation, and taste.
