The ORNL Guest House is located in the Oak Ridge National Laboratory campus,
within 5 minutes by car to any part of the campus, High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR),
Conference Center and short walk to the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS). The
Guest House is a three story, 47 room, 71 bed facility (23 rooms with king beds
and 24 rooms with 2 ex-long double beds). All rooms have a flat screen satellite
TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, iron & ironing board, and hair dryer. The entire Guest House has high speed wireless internet access with printing capabilities. |

The Guest House is located at 8640 Nano Center Drive at Chestnut Ridge facility complex.
The purpose of the ORNL Guest House is to provide
convenient, on site lodging to ORNL User Facility clients, visiting researchers, and other ORNL
visitors. The Guest House does not
serve families (spouses and children). Service animals will be allowed. A visitor’s pass is
required to enter ORNL and stay at the Guest House.
The Operating Contractor is Paragon Hotel Company of Anderson, South Carolina. They are the operators of the Comfort Inn in Oak Ridge.
ORNL Guest House rates are as follows:
Standard Rate - $91 per night plus tax – This is the GSA rate for Oak Ridge and
is available to all, even without government ID.
Academic Rate - $76 per night plus tax – Available for stays of 4 or more nights
by students and faculty of colleges and universities, and high school
teachers/administrators. (Reserve your room at the Standard Rate and request the
Academic Rate at check-in. College ID required.)
Extended Stay Rate - $69 per night plus tax – Available for stays of 30 or more
consecutive nights. (Call to reserve your room at the Extended Stay Rate. Full
payment by credit card is required in advance. If your stay fails to extend to
the full 30 days, the rate will revert to the Standard Rate for your actual
stay. If you cancel your reservation prior to 6 p.m. on the day of arrival, the
deposit will be refunded in full via credit to the credit card. Any cancellation
received after 6 p.m. will be subject one nights lodging plus taxes.)
