Prospective users are encouraged to explore the capabilities of the ORNL user facilities through our User Web pages (Learn More).  Researchers are also encouraged to consult with the facility contacts and scientists to determine the capabilities and availability at each user facility. 

As a user, you must complete certain administrative requirements before you can access and use the ORNL facilities.  Access to the ORNL user facilities is through the review and approval of user proposals which depends on the scientific merit, suitability of the user facilities and the appropriateness of the work to DOE objectives.
