About the Program Management Community Support Department (PMCSD)
The mission of the Program Management Community Support Department (PMCSD) is to develop the NAVAIR/PEO acquisition/program management workforce to best serve Naval Aviation. The PMCSD guides the development and application of the Program Management workforce policies, processes, procedures and tools. The PMCSD is responsible for developing a capable and responsive, program management workforce, through education and training, by providing expertise, tools, and diverse experiences/career opportunities. This will enable the workforce to meet the challenges and requirements today and for the future.
The Program Management Community WebTool, developed by the PMCSD, provides NAVAIR specific guidance, policy, process and reference material related to requirements throughout the Acquisition Life Cycle. This powerful and unique tool uses dynamic relationships between DoD, DoN and NAVAIR information and documentation allowing users to point to specific guidance, policy and instructions. A wealth of information is available to the workforce with a click of the mouse. Additionally, this tool was developed with growth and flexibility in mind. As the requirements change, documents are updated, as users’ needs for more information, PMCSD can quickly and easily accommodate those needs. This tool was Built with the user in mind….
