The following acts are prohibited on the area, roads, and trails as described in this order, with in the Bridgeport Winter Recreation Area and the Pacific Crest Trail Crossing, on the Bridgeport Ranger District, Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest until further notice.

Within the Bridgeport Winter Recreation Area and the Pacific Crest Trail Crossing: possessing or using a motorized vehicle off national forest system roads without a visitor Use Permit
Green Creek Campground is temporarily closed beginning Friday, June 22, 2012, to remove hazard trees in the recreation site. The work will take a few weeks and the campground will re-open once the site is cleared.

**new** (as of Dec. 18) Due to construction, Deer Creek Road (HWY158) will be completely closed just north of Deer Creek Picnic Area to Lee Canyon Road (HWY 156) through Dec. 24th.
No Parking along the road in Upper Kyle Canyon. Las Vegas Metro will aggressively enforce.
Lovell Canyon Rd is finished on the west side of the Spring Mountains. Go check it out!
Effective December 23 at 12:01 AM building, maintaining, attending or using a fire, campfire, or stovefire is prohibited within the area known as the Hope Valley Sno-Park, on the Carson Ranger District, Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest beginning November 1 and ending May 31 of each year until rescinded.
The Austin Ranger District has planned 2 prescribed burns in the central Monitor Mountain Range, in Nye County, set to begin Thursday, September 22, 2011 and to end early next week. Savory, the first burn, was ignited using a helicopter and treated around 1300 acres.
The second prescribed fire, Big Ten, located on the south end of the Monitor Mountain range was scheduled for Monday Oct. 17.
Beginning August 16, 2011 until November 30, 2011 weather permitting. The Belmont Mine is about 46 miles NE of Tonopah and about 20 miles west of Ely. Construction and stabilization of the mill structure, tramway towers, assay office, and supervisor's house has begun and the public is asked to stay out of the area. Access roads have been open to the site but the mill will be temporarily closed as construction continues.
Closures include County 9/FS 59623 between the intersection of FS 59624 (road to Hamilton, NV) and the northern intersection of FS 19543. It also includes FS 19542, FS 19594, and FS 59498 from FS 59623 to FS 59624.
Work includes replacing broken or severely weathered structural members, placement of concrete footings, and the addition of structural elements to keep the buildings standing for another 30 to 50 years. Mined material that may be toxic will be cleaned up and properly disposed.
Forestdale Road (NFS Road 31013) will close to over snow motor vehicles on December 28, 2012. All motor vehicles including snowmobiles are required to stay out of the area.

The purpose of this order is to restrict people from dispersed camping within Archery Range. Dispersed campers in the area have cut down trees, created illegal roads, and left trash; causing erosion, soil compaction, and damage to natural resource habitat.
Archery Range is located off SR 158 near mile marker 7 where FDR 45078 begins. The legal location of the project area is Township 19S, Range 56E, Sections 6 and 7.

All areas, roads, trails and parking lot as described therein: Mary Jane Trailhead and Mary Jane Trail, on the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area Ranger District, Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.
Hazardous trees throughout the Cathedral Rock Picnic Area have required the U.S. Forest Service to close its most popular picnic area in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area. The closure is effective immediately and will continue until further notice.
The trees damaged by last winter’s heavy snow and wind storms. The number of trees with broken limbs and the number of trees leaning toward picnic areas, restrooms, and trails in the Cathedral Rock Area warrants immediate closure of the picnic area.
National Forest System Road #32213 and all areas and trails within the boundaries known as the Mill Canyon 1 Unit, Township 3 North, Range 23 East, sections 18 & 19, approximately 42 acres in size, on the Bridgeport Ranger District, Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.
