Thumbnail preview ANNOTATION: The final results from the Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) three-year evaluation are presented. CEO is a comprehensive employment project for recently released inmates located in New York City. Chapters following an executive summary are: introduction; CEO program implementation and service receipt; impacts of CEO on employment and recidivism; benefit-cost analysis of the CEO program; and conclusion. While CEO significantly reduced recidivism for its clients and criminal justice system costs it substantially increased employment opportunities only in the early follow-up period.
