Research interests: The study of the thermodynamics of polymer/nanoparticle systems in bulk and thin films by using different characterization techniques to understand nanostructure-property correlations in thin polymers, including small-angle neutron scattering, neutron reflectivity and parallel x-ray techniques. Nanoparticle segregation in thin films is useful for energy applications, in particular, in the manufacture of organic-based solar cells.
