FUNCTIONS
Antiterrorism (AT)
The Antiterrorism Program has been developed to help with the protection of DISA employees and their families, facilities, and other material from terrorist acts.
Communications Security (COMSEC)
The measures taken to deny unauthorized personnel national security information derived from telecommunications of the U.S. Government.
Industrial Security
This program is designed to ensure the safeguarding of classified information in the hands of U.S. industrial organizations and all organizations and facilities used by prime and subcontractors.
Information Security (INFOSEC)
This program is designed to identify, control, and protect information form unauthorized disclosure. Procedures must be developed to ensure classified systems and material generated from information systems are in compliance with regulation.
Physical Security
The level of control and protection shall be commensurate with the maximum sensitivity of the information and shall be provided the most restrictive control measures required by the information to be handled.
Violence in the Workplace Prevention (VITWP)
The DISA Security Division is committed to ensuring that DISA employees are provided a secure working environment. The VITWP program provides tips on recognizing early warning signs, documenting, reporting, and providing training.
