1-13th Col
 Lieutenant Colonel Scott Trahan enlisted in the Army in 1987 and served five years as an Intelligence Analyst before earning a Green-to-Gold Scholarship to attend Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC.  Since being commissioned as an Infantryman in 1995, Lieutenant Colonel Trahan has served in a variety of Infantry command and staff positions from platoon to brigade level.  He has also served as an Observer Control / Trainer, Aid-de-Camp to the Commanding General, First U.S. Army and program manager on the Army Staff.
 Lieutenant Colonel Trahan has deployed to Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan and Iraq.  His awards and decorations are typical of others who have served our Nation and include the Combat Infantryman Badge, Master Parachutist Badge with Bronze Star (Signifying a Combat Jump) and the coveted Ranger Tab.

1-13th Segeant Major

CSM Seals joined the Army in January of 1987. He is a native of Atmore, Alabama. He attended One Station Unit Training (OSUT) for Infantry at Fort Benning, Georgia. Since then he has served in positions of Team Leader, Squad leader, Recruiter, Drill Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Senior Observer Controller, First Sergeant, Battalion and Brigade Operations Sergeant Major. CSM Seals’ assignments include: 1st Battalion 39th Infantry Regiment, 8th Infantry Division, Baumholder, Germany, 2nd Battalion 29th Infantry Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia, Daytona Beach Recruiting Company, Jacksonville Recruiting Battalion, 2nd Battalion 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia, 1st/ 40th FA with the Artillery Training Center, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, 2nd Battalion 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia, The Grizzly Armored Task Force, 7th ATC, Hohenfels, Germany, 1st Battalion 6th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Division, Baumholder, Germany, 3Rrd Battalion 60th Infantry Regiment, 193rd Infantry Brigade and HHC 193rd Infantry Brigade, Fort Jackson, South Carolina, HHC 1st Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart Georgia and the 4th Battalion 31st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York.

He completed two combat tours: his first deployment was from 2005-2006 to Ramadi, Iraq where he served as the Bravo Company First Sergeant. His second deployment was from 2009-2010 to Baghdad, Iraq where he served as the 1st Brigade 3rd Infantry Division Operations Sergeant Major. CSM Seals’ awards and decorations include Bronze Star Medal (with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster), Meritorious Service Medal (with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Commendation Medal (with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Achievement Medal (with 7 Oak Leaf Clusters), eight Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal (with Bronze Service Star), Drill Sergeant Badge, Gold Recruiter Badge (with 3 Gold Star Sapphires), Expert Infantryman Badge, and the Combat Infantryman Badge. CSM Seals is also a recipient of the prestigious Order of Saint Maurice. CSM Seals’ military schools includes: United States Army Sergeant Majors Academy, First Sergeant’s Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Primary Leadership Development Course, U.S Army Drill Sergeant Course, U.S Army Recruiter Course, and the Instructor Training Course.

CSM Seals is married and they have three children.
