Today, fifteen years after the end of a civil war,
Lebanon is again emerging as a strong trading nation. The
country’s free market economy, the absence of controls
on the movement of capital and foreign exchange, a highly
educated labor force, and its quality of life have encouraged
a number of foreign companies to set up offices or regional
offices in Lebanon recently.
