         This video features historical footage of Head Start from the 1960s along with interviews with over 30 individuals who were Head Start staff, parents and children in the early years of Head Start. It would be helpful to new staff, parents, policy council members, and community members who are not familiar with the history of Head Start. This video gives a comprehensive overview and historic context for Head Start.

         This video shows interviews of over 40 individuals from across the county who had stories to tell about their experiences with Head Start over the past 40 years and the profound impact it had on the Head Start children, parents, staff and the communities it touched. It would be of interest to Head Start staff, parents and community members. These stories can be used to review various aspects of Head Start and their impact as well as for trainings and orientation.

         This video has stories that relate directly to the topic of child health and disabilities over the past 40 years. They can be used to review aspects of this critical topic with staff, parents, community and the governing body. It can also be used to enhance trainings on this topic. These stories cover how Head Start had a positive impact on children with disabilities and oral health concerns.

         This video focuses on the Education and Early Childhood Development issues that the individuals interviewed struggled with to create the best possible early childhood learning environment in a variety of locations over the past 40 years. It is appropriate for use with training staff, and informing parents and the community. Multilingual education, curriculum selection and multicultural principles are a few of the topics covered.

The stories can be used with trainings for staff, parents, and governing bodies as well as orientation for policy council members.
