MEDIA NOTE

The fifth session of the Bilateral Consultative Commission under the New START Treaty took place in Geneva from February 6-19.

The sides continued to discuss practical issues related to the implementation of the Treaty. In accordance with its provisions, they reached an agreed decision on the number of launches of ICBMs and SLBMs on which an exchange of telemetric information will be carried out in 2013.
