McMorris Rodgers Statement on President Obama's Sequester

WASHINGTON – House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) issued the following statement today on President Obama’s sequester:
“President Obama proposed the sequester, insisted the sequester become law, and then doubled-down on keeping the sequester in place. House Republicans have already acted – not once, but twice – by passing bills that would replace the arbitrary cuts in the Obama sequester with responsible spending and real economic reform to create jobs and prosperity for all Americans. Hardworking taxpayers deserve common-sense spending cuts that reign in out-of-control Washington spending, not the President’s sequester.”
