Band

The Band Program at Quantico Middle/High School is a comprehensive program from the Beginning level to Advanced. Groups learn to improve on their instrumental technique, while learning music history and theory. All groups participate in local concerts in Virginia District Festivals, and also in other competitions.

Fun and Fitness (6th Grade)

Fun and Fitness is an after school club exclusively for our sixth grade students.  It meets twice a week after school.  Its purpose is to increase physical activity in our sixth graders by making it fun and personally rewarding.  It allows them extra time with friends and its activities develop and improve physical skills, mental alertness, sportsmanship qualities, and leadership qualities.

Quantico Middle High offers opportunities for girls in grades 7 through 12 to participate in cheerleading.

The Chorus program at Quantico Middle/High School is offered for students after school one day per week. The school offers a high school chorus and a middle school chorus. They participate in local concerts and various competitions.


represents 2 people  10th, 11th, and 12th graders with GPA of at least 3.5 who have attended QMHS at least 1 semester are eligible for consideration through the selection procedure.

The Honor Society chapter establishes rules for membership that are based upon a student's outstanding performance in the areas of: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. These criteria for selection form the foundation upon which the organization and its activities are built.

Obligation of Membership


 

represents 2 people  7th, 8th, and 9th graders with GPA of at least 3.5 who have attended QMHS at least 1 semester are eligible for consideration through the selection procedure.

Members of the SCA are represented in a Student Council by duly elected officers, class senators, and homeroom representatives. There are two Student Councils, one for middle school students and one for high school students.

Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD)

Students helping students make positive decisions about challenges in their everyday lives.  SADD is peer-to-peer education, prevention, and activism organization dedicated to preventing destructive decisions, particularly underage drinking, other drug use, risky and impaired driving, teen violence, and teen suicide.
