Vice Admiral Carol Pottenger, deputy chief of staff Capability and Development at NATO Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation in Norfolk, Virginia led a roundtable event at the U.S. Embassy in Rome with women from the Italian Armed Forces. 

They had a useful exchange on women in the military and Vice Admiral Pottenger shared some of her own experiences from her military career.
