Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) SYS 028 Configuration Management Course

The internet-based Configuration Management course is comprised of 8 modules.  The course presents configuration management facts and principles in the light of current acquisition reform practices.  It describes the activities and documentation utilized in executing the configuration management process.  The course is not designed to make functional experts in the areas of configuration management.  Rather, it provides personnel with a broad understanding of the basic configuration management process, procedures, and policies to enable them to be more effective managers with fewer resources available at their disposal in the current environment.
