The InterAgency Board (IAB) for Equipment Standardization and InterOperability Working Group is designed to establish and coordinate local, state, and federal standardization, interoperability, and responder safety to prepare for, respond to, mitigate, and recover from any incident by identifying requirements for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear or Explosives (CBRNE) incident response equipment.
The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) has more than 2,700 affiliates, representing fire fighters in more than 3,500 communities in the U.S. and Canada. The 263,000 members of the IAFF are the nation's full-time professional fire fighters and paramedics, who protect the lives and property of 80 percent of the nation's population.
IACLEA is an association that advances campus public safety for its more than 1,200 educational institution members and 2,000 individual members by providing educational resources, advocacy, and professional development services. IACLEA is led by a Board of Directors and managed by a professional staff with headquarters in West Hartford, CT.
The mission of the National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL) is to prevent work-related injury and illness by ensuring the development, certification, deployment, and use of personal protective equipment and fully integrated, intelligent ensembles. NPPTL focuses expertise on design and testing of a variety of state-of-the-art personal protective devices and technologies including respirators, chemical-resistant clothing, hearing protectors, and safety goggles and glasses for use by first responders against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear agents in the event of a terrorist incident. The NTOA's mission is to provide the law enforcement community: a communications resource for SWAT, patrol, crisis negotiations and other units that support the resolution of critical incidents; a national law enforcement information resource library; comprehensive law enforcement research support; credible, cost-effective training programs; and quality professional journals The Tactical Edge and the Crisis Negotiator.
The National Sheriffs' Association, now in its sixty-second year of serving the law enforcement/criminal justice professionals of the nation, is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the level of professionalism among those in the criminal justice field. Through the years, NSA has been involved in numerous programs to enable sheriffs, their deputies, chiefs of police, and others in the field of criminal justice to perform their jobs in the best possible manner and to better serve the people of their city/counties or jurisdictions.
The National Bomb Squad Commanders Advisory Board (NBSCAB) represents the Bomb Squad Commanders on the more than 450 accredited bomb squads in the U.S. and serves the approximately 2500 certified bomb technicians on those squads. NBSCAB also works in close partnership with various Federal agencies that support the bomb squad program.
The International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the goals of saving lives and protecting property during emergencies and disasters. The mission of IAEM is to serve its members by providing information, networking and professional opportunities, and to advance the emergency management profession.

The International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) is the trade association for manufacturers of protective equipment, including head, eye and face, hand, hearing, respiratory and fall protection; chemical protective apparel; high-visibility apparel; gas detection instruments; emergency eyewash and showers, and first aid kits.
The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) is the world's oldest and largest nonprofit membership organization of police executives, with over 19,000 members in over 89 different countries. IACP's leadership consists of the operating chief executives of international, federal, state and local agencies of all sizes.
The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, Inc. is an organization dedicated to professional representation of the views and opinions of pre-hospital care personnel and influencing the future advancement of EMS. NAEMT serves its professional membership through educational programs, liaison activities, development of national standards and reciprocity and the development of programs to benefit pre-hospital care personnel.
