ANNOTATION: The ability of individuals involved with the criminal justice system to get public health insurance and services is examined. The discussion centers on the impact of “health care reform,” the combination of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act, on access.
