Mission: The 75th Air Base Wing is responsible for the base operating support of all units at Hill AFB.
Mission: Provides readiness and installation support for 23,000 personnel on Hill Air Force Base. These units include the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, 388th & 419th Total Force Fighter Wings and more than 50 other associate units. The 75th Air Base Wing is responsible for mission support, civil engineering, medical, airfield operations, command post, explosive ordnance disposal, public affairs, financial management of $400 million and ground operations for the installation and the Utah Test and Training Range.
The 75th Air Base Wing supports the Ogden ALC, two fighter wings, 46more than 50 other associate units, and directly supports Air and Space Expeditionary Forces operations. The 75th Air Base Wing also has base support responsibility for the operation of the 1,500-square-mile Utah Test and Training Range.
Airmen's dormitories are modern and comfortable; family quarters are spacious, airy and conveniently arranged. A modern shopping complex houses the Base Exchange, mini mall and Commissary. Other facilities include a bowling center, fitness center, clinics, chapel, museum, recreation center, officer and enlisted clubs, dining facilities and a child development center. Covering more than 6,650 acres, the base itself includes 228 miles of roads, 28 miles of railroads, 1,475 buildings and 11 aircraft hangars.
The 13,500-foot runway accommodates any aircraft in the Air Force inventory. In a typical year, locally based and transient aircraft will log more than 50,000 takeoffs and landings.
The administration and support functions are the 75th Medical Group, Bldg. 570, handling medical and dental activities; 75th Civil Engineer Group, Bldg. 15, including engineering, housing, fire protection, explosive ordnance disposal and readiness; 75th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Bldg. 900, including transportation and two munitions squadrons, and supply and logistics readiness divisions; and the 75th Mission Support Group, Bldg. 180, including Security Forces, education, family support, military and civilian personnel and the Airman Leadership School and other squadrons. Also, the Safety Office <https://hillnet.hill.af.mil/hafb/alc/se/safety/> and the Inspector General are now part of the 75th ABW.
