DURING the past month, new information and activities have been added to the United States Mint H.I.P. Pocket Change™ Web site.  To help you learn "What’s New for You," we’ve listed and linked these features below.

Music in Our Schools

March is known as "Music in Our Schools Month."  Visit the "Music Plans" page on the site and be ready to jazz up your curriculum with these lesson plans based on the Tennessee and District of Columbia quarters.

Coin of the Month

Image shows the back of the Perry's Victory quarter. Introduce your students to the Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial and the quarter that honors it with the March Coin of the Month.

Women's History Month

In celebration of Women's History Month, explore the Medal Mania page and share the collection of Congressional gold medals that have been awarded to various women in recognition of their service, contributions, and accomplishments.

Be sure to also take your students back to the year 1917 with the Time Machine to see life during World War I and the Suffrage Era.

Quarters to Color

Let your students delve into the finer details of this year's quarters by coloring them!  Get free downloads from the Coloring Pages page.
