Trusted Computing

Trusted Computing Technologies are hardware- and software-based security technologies developed and promoted by the Trusted Computing Group (TCG)--a not-for-profit international industry standards body. The TCG develops standards and publishes specifications for security technologies intended to combat the threat of software attack. Trusted Computing Technologies include the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), Trusted Network Connect (TNC), and the Trusted Computing Software Stack (TSS).
