How long does it take?
It can take from a few days to a few weeks for us to receive the books from the lending libraries. You will be notified by email when a book is ready for you to pick up in the Research Library.
How long are the loan periods?
On an average, the loan period is 3 weeks. It can be shorter or longer, depending on the rules set by the library that lends the material to us.
Where do I pick up and return my books?
You will be notified by email when a book is ready for you to pick up in the Research Library. You must return the books to the Research Library. Please do not remove the attached label from the materials borrowed - it is needed to clear your account.
Can I order a dissertation? a textbook?
Dissertations and textbooks are NOT borrowed. A local bookstore can order them for you.
For dissertations, see other options on the Dissertations and Theses page. What if I need a chapter from a book or an article?
For chapters and articles, see Document Delivery.
NOTE: We do not participate as a lender in InterLibrary Loan.
