Event: Small Business Tax Workshop

Event Information: This workshop provides basic income tax information for small business owners. The workshop is presented in two sessions. The morning session from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. will address income tax issues for the small business owner. The afternoon session from 1:15 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. will address state and federal employment taxes. The Small Business Development Center partners with Internal Revenue Service to provide materials for the workshop. Participants may attend either or both sessions. Each session has a fee of $5. Event Information: Are you thinking about starting a business? This two part workshop meets on the first and third Saturday of each month, and will require a six hour investment of your time. The series costs $20 and must be paid when you pre-register. This workshop outlines specific things a prospective entrepreneur needs to do prior to any personal commitment or financial investment in a business whether it is a start up or acquisition of an existing business.
