Supply Services Division (SSD)

Description:
The SDD serves as the hub of installation sustainment logistics, managing supply facilities and providing various services in support of unit readiness, Soldier health and welfare.  Areas of operation include the Central Receiving Point (CRP), the Supply Support Activity (SSA), Chemical Detection Equipment (CDE) issue, the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) and Distribution Supply Point, the Central Issue Facility (CIF),  the Consolidated Installation Property Book Office (CIPBO), Post Laundry, Furniture Replacement and Exchange, the Culinary Arts Team, Dining Facility (DFAC)  Management and the Troop Issue and Subsistence Facility (TISA).

Description:
"The SSA is responsible for the receiving, issuing, classifying, sorting, and storing of Class II, III, VII and IX items in support of the XVIII Airborne Corps, 82nd Airborne Division, Unites States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), 1st Theater Sustainment Command (TSC), U.S. Army Garrison, United States Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center (USAJFKSWC), tenant units and all AR 5-9 units.  The Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS) is the STAMIS for the SSA. The SSA also provides Class IV, VII (rolling stock), and radioactive waste collection and disposal for Fort Bragg units and activities.
