Order
articles through the Research Library
The Library can order journal articles, conference papers and book chapters not found in the Library's collections for LANL staff. Request with the Library's Request Materials form, or by contacting us by phone (667-5809) or e-mail. The cost will be charged to your LANL cost code.
The document delivery service is provided by the vendor Reprints Desk, who will email the article to you as a pdf. Many articles are delivered the same day; hard-to-find material may take 1-2 weeks.
Order
articles directly with a purchase card
If you need an article from a journal that the LANL Library doesn't
own, you can also order articles yourself with a Lab
purchase card. Many publishers and professional societies now offer online ordering, or the organizations listed below can be used.
National Research Council Canada/CISTI Document Orders
CISTI (Canadian Institute for Scientific and Technical Information) document orders, handled through an Infotrieve account.
British Library Document Supply Services
FIZ AutoDoc Document Supply
Chemistry documents via FIZ Karlsruhe (replaces CAS document service)
GeoRef Document Delivery Service
Documents or maps cited in the GeoRef database
