We are looking for extraordinarily talented soldiers with the ability to sing and dance, or play a musical instrument, to join this exciting group. During this two year special duty assignment, you will travel throughout Europe as a Musical Ambassador to thousands of soldiers as well as civilians.

The United States Army Europe Soldiers’ Chorus, under the direction of Captain Bryan Ralls, is stationed at Sembach Kaserne in Sembach, Germany. The Chorus organized in 1963 to enhance troop morale through musical performances. The group quickly proved highly successful in advancing relations between the American community in Europe and its host nations, and has captured the hearts of many.
In 1981, the Soldiers’ Chorus was attached to the United States Army Europe Band. Unlike their band colleagues, the singers do not enter the military as musicians. Rather, they are selected through competitive auditions from other specialties in the Army, and receive intensive training in vocal, dance, and theatrical skills. The ensemble is one of only four full-time choral groups in the Army, and the only one located outside of the United States.
The Chorus performs more than 150 times each year and has appeared in several European countries. Whatever the specific requirement, the men and women of the Soldiers’ Chorus continue to represent the best of the United States Army.
The U.S. Army Europe Band as a whole performs more than 200 times each year, and has appeared in over 20 European and Middle Eastern countries from Russia to Lebanon.
