In using the Multiple Award Schedules Program (Schedules), both GSA and the Department of Defense (DoD) continue to be strong advocates of small business.  To promote the maximum use of small businesses, GSA strongly encourages agencies to leverage Schedules in identifying small business contractors and to consider at least one small business, veteran-owned small business, service disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, women-owned small business, or small disadvantaged business when placing an order.
