Families with a spouse deployed will have an opportunity to take part in the Blue Star program, providing discounts on Family and MWR trips, classes, events, food and more. “Family and MWR is here to service
Soldiers and their families,” said
Darrell Clay, USAG Bamberg,
director of Family and MWR.
“We want to recognize the Families for their selfless service by offering discounts and specials through the Blue Star Card.” Starting in August, cardholders will receive everyday benefits at Family and MWR facilities and one-time specials. From discounts at the Birchview Lanes Bowling Center to one free car wash per deployment at the Auto Skills Center, there is sure to be something for everyone to take advantage of.
Families with CYS-registered children receive bonuses at CYS Services like free hourly care for FRG meetings or 20% fee reduction for regulary scheduled full day and part day care. For more details on Bamberg's Blue Star program, click here.

A list of available Outdoor Recreation trips is available here. Please sign up for ODR trips by Monday before, or they may be cancelled.
Cancellations 
must be made 72 hours prior to trip departure. At MWR Online Service you can also check what trips are available: Just sign in as a guest and check out the trips list.
