Then click here to see and print out the booklet. You can either do the booklet when you visit the park or you can do it at home and then give the finished booklet to one of the Rangers to check. Once he or she has signed to the certificate on the back, you'll receive your Junior Ranger badge. |
Did You Know?
Pelican Island was proclaimed the first U.S. National Wildlife Refuge by President Theodore Roosevelt on March 14, 1903. This action was taken by the president to protect the island's birds from plume hunters. It also contributed to T.R. being known as one of the world's greatest conservationists.
