Junior Ranger

Our Junior Ranger Program is designed to help you and your family enjoy the reserve, as well as help the rangers protect its features. Being a Junior Ranger means more than just knowing about the nature and history of the area. Junior Rangers must help protect the area by obeying the rules and caring for the wildlife and special features of City of Rocks.

Junior Ranger Pledge:

  •  Enjoy nature without picking plants or injuring wildlife
  •  Help keep our reserve clean and free of litter
  •  Only climb where you can safely climb down
  •  Be a positive example for other park visitors
  •  Explore the wonders of City of Rocks
  •  Invite others to visit City of Rocks National Reserve
