Welcome to the web page of the Army Substance Abuse Program Office
Our Mission is to strengthen the Overall Fitness and Effectiveness of the Army's Total Workforce and enhancement of Soldier Combat Readiness.
Our Vision is to be a Top-Notch Army Substance Abuse Program and service provider that enhances fitness, combat readiness, and worker productivity.
Risk Reduction focuses on high-risk behaviors, many of which are frequently associated with alcohol or drug abuse. High-risk behaviors include spouse and child abuse, safety accidents and injuries, crimes against persons and property, sexually transmitted diseases, traffic offenses, financial problems, and suicide gestures or attempts. All of these behaviors potentially erode combat and mission readiness.
Our office provides: Soldier Risk Reduction, Employee Assistance, Substance Abuse Training, and Urinalysis Testing.
