WORKERS' COMPENSATION

Workers Compensation

Workers’ Compensation is a collection of programs that provide wage replacement benefits, medical treatment, vocational rehabilitation, and other benefits to Federal workers or their dependents who are injured at work or acquire an occupational disease.

The Injury and Unemployment Compensation Division Web site, part of the Civilian Personnel Management Services, provides extensive information on worker’s compensation issues. The division offers products and services, as well as human resources policies. To learn more about Injury Compensation or to read about Hot Topics in workers’ compensation, visit the Injury and Unemployment Compensation Division Web site.

Another thorough resource is the United States Department of Labor Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs. Specifically, the Division of Federal Employees’ Compensation provides general guidance, regulations, resources, and forms related to injury compensation.
