FCSA

The Future Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) Services Acquisition (FCSA) consists of a comprehensive set of acquisition activities which replaces expired and expiring DISA and GSA contracts, including DSTS-G and Inmarsat Bridges. FCSA Service Areas:

Transponded Capacity: Fixed Satellite Services (FSS) that include Dedicated satellite bandwidth and power in any commercially available frequency band (e.g., including L-, S-, C-, X-, Ku-, and Ka) via General Services Administration (GSA) IT Schedule 70 SIN 132-54. Transponded Capacity replaces the legacy DISA Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) Satellite Transmission Services – Global (DSTS-G) contract. For more information, a printable Transponded Capacity overview can be found on the Templates and Resources page, or visit the General Services Administration (GSA) FCSA website.

Subscription Services: Preexisting (turnkey), pre-engineered Fixed Satellite Service (FSS) or/and Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) subscription-based (e.g., dollars per minute, dollars per month, dollars per megabyte, dollars per message) solutions using blanket purchase agreements (BPAs), including terminals tied to a service, in any commercial frequency band via General Services Administration (GSA) IT Schedule 70 SIN132-55. Subscriptions Services replaces the legacy Inmarsat contract. For more information, a printable Subscription Services overview can be found on the Templates and Resources page, or visit the GSA FCSA website.

Custom Satellite Solutions (CS2): Customer defined, End-to-End solutions, consisting of a combination of FSS or MSS components, bandwidth, teleport access, terminals, terrestrial tail circuits, network management, and engineering services. For more information, a printable CS2 overview can be found on the Templates and Resources page, or visit the GSA FCSA website.
