Bring your students to come learn in the park! Grand Teton National Park offers curriculum-based programs for students of all ages. Programs can take place inside the new Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center, the Colter Bay Visitor Center, or we can head outside on the trail or on snowshoes to explore the park. Please contact us for information about the programs we offer and to schedule your visit. We may also be able to work with you to tailor a program to meet the needs of your classroom.

Uinta Ground Squirrel

Did You Know?
Did you know that Uinta ground squirrels, sometimes mistaken for prairie dogs, hibernate up to eight months a year? These animals leave their burrows in March or April to inhabit the sagebrush flats, but may return by the end of July.
