eBuy is “Set-Aside” Ready!

eBuy, GSA’s request-for-quote (RFQ) system, has been updated to facilitate set-asides.

Now you can choose whether your requirement will be set-aside for small business or another small business category.  If you decide to set-aside the requirement, then the RFQ will be viewable only by eligible Schedule contractors. For example, only HubZone Schedule contractors could view a RFQ set-aside for HubZone small business concerns.

Small Business Set-Asides are now an option for customers placing orders against MAS

As a schedule contractor it's important to understand the implications of the Small Business Jobs Act on the Schedules program and specifically what changes are taking place for your customers or potential clients.  Learn what you need to know about how the rules on set-asides have changed.  Use the resources GSA provides to help you become a resource for your customers.  It's another tool in the toolkit that you need to be able to help your customers understand fully.

Set Aside Orders for Small Business

What You Need To Know

Interim rule for FAR Case 2011-024, effective Nov. 2, 2011, provides agencies with the ability to set aside orders and Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) issued under Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) program.

Before this rule, agencies were prohibited from setting aside orders and BPAs under the MAS program.
