Fiscal Year 2012 MCSAP Basic and Incentive Grant Awards

Purpose: For the development or implementation of programs for improving motor carrier safety and the enforcement of regulations, standards, and orders of the United States Government on commercial motor vehicle safety, hazardous materials transportation safety, and compatible State regulations, standards, and orders.
Authorization: Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users, Pub. L. No.109–59, §§ 4101(a), 4106, 119 Stat. 1144, 1714–15, 1717–19 (2005), as amended by Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century, Pub. L. No.112-141 §§ 32601, 32603(a), 112002(a) (2012).
Statue: 49 U.S.C. §§ 31102, 31103, 31104 (2006), as amended.
Grantees: States, US Territories and Commonwealths and the District of Columbia.
