Risk Reduction Program

The RRP supports the Army’s well-being program initiatives by integrating prevention and intervention programs into
a framework contributing to performance, readiness, and retention. This program is designed to identify and reduce
risky behaviors in several areas, including substance abuse, spouse and child abuse, sexually-transmitted diseases
and infections, suicide, crimes against property, crimes against people, traffic violations, accidents, and
financial problems.

Unit Risk Inventory, an important aspect of the RRP, allows Soldiers to provide anonymous, yet accurate pictures
of their lives and units.  Armed with this knowledge leaders can effective use installation resources to implement
intervention and prevention strategies.
