Service and construction contractors are required to report their purchases of biobased products for supply or use under Federal contracts.  The reporting requirement applies if:

·         Your contract or task order was signed between May 18, 2012 and September 30, 2012 AND

Ordering Procedures for Federal Supply Schedules (FSS) When Less Than Three Contractors Are Available
NOTE:  The procedures discussed here apply to orders for supplies where the total value of the order is less than the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) ($150,000).
 

eBuy, GSA’s request-for-quote (RFQ) system, has been updated to facilitate set-asides.
 
Now you can choose whether your requirement will be set-aside for small business or another small business category.  If you decide to set-aside the requirement, then the RFQ will be viewable only by eligible Schedule contractors. For example, only HubZone Schedule contractors could view a RFQ set-aside for HubZone small business concerns.
