Resources for Parents
More than 8,000 children of federal employees and citizens receive care in GSA-managed facilities. While federal employees must make up a minimum of 50 percent of child care customers, GSA child care centers are open to the community.
Find a Center: Those seeking child care services should contact the center they are interested in directly. Centers are independently managed. Registration requirements and enrollment availability may vary.
Tuition Assistance: Parents must pay fees to cover tuition costs of care in the centers. Tuition rates vary according to geographic location, services offered, hours of care, size of the center, and other criteria. Centers are required to have a tuition-assistance program. Employees of federal agencies and members of the U.S. military may also qualify for federal tuition subsidies based on income.
Quality Programs (external website): Every center in the GSA network is required to achieve and maintain accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children. (NAEYC)
