The Other Advanced Biofuels category includes biofuels that do not qualify for other categories and biofuels that exceed volume requirements of biomass-based diesel or cellulosic fuels. Federal legislation provided yearly RFS volume requirements for each renewable fuel category. EPA updates volume requirements each year based on fuel availability.
