2012 ESA Graduate Student Policy Award: The Society invites applications for an opportunity to participate in a hands-on science policy experience. Awardees will travel to Washington, DC for a two-day event on March 28 and 29 to meet with congressional decision-makers, interact with federal agency officials, and learn about the federal budget process. Daphnia species have inhabited the highly fluctuating Lake Naivasha in the Kenyan rift valley for the past 1800 years.
