On Monday, November 2, 2009 beginning at 5:00 p.m. (CT), the ECG System will be unavailable to the user community until approximately midnight (7 hours). This outage is necessary to perform necessary hardware maintenance.

On Monday, October 12, 2009 from 2:00 to 2:30 a.m. (CDT), AMCS will be unavailable so that a full database backup can be performed.

The migration of the database to new hardware and database software is complete. AMCS is available for your use. Please be advised that Monday, October 12, 2009 is a federal holiday, so the AMCS Support Desk will not be available.

October 5, 2009
Beginning October 9, 2009 at 8:00 pm (CDT), AMCS will not be available to the user community. At this time the database will be migrated to new hardware and a new version of the database software. This task is being performed for the purpose of providing enhanced security, availability, and reliability of AMCS. The database will be available to the user community at 6:00 pm on October 12, 2009.

June 10, 2009
On June 14, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CDT, the primary connection to the Internet at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center is being upgraded. During this time there may be brief periods when connectivity to AMCS will be unavailable.

May 21, 2009
On May 24, 2009 from 6:00 am (CDT) to 6:00 pm, AMCS will not be available to the user community. Maintenance and backup procedures will be performed on the database during this time.

The new version of the FAA Form 8500-8, GG series, will begin arriving in your office as early as September 22nd. Please see Dr. Fred Tilton's editorial, 'GG' Is Coming, on page two of the Federal Air Surgeon's Medical Bulletin (PDF) for more information.

The AMCS Login page will soon be getting a new look. This change ensures that AMCS conforms to FAA standards and allows for future enhancements to system security. The new Login screen will function the same as the old and your User Name and Password will remain the same. Look for the upcoming changes to AMCS Login screens (PDF) on or around July 28, 2008.

Monday May 5, 2008. New AMCS password requirements are in effect.
