The Alamo Area Clean Cities Coalition (AACCC) is a voluntary, public/private partnership that works to advance the region's economic development, energy security, and environmental and public health by promoting policies and practices that reduce foreign petroleum consumption in transportation and replace it with American made energy. The Coalition's initiatives focus on:

  • alternative fuels and alternative fuel vehicles
  • fuel blends
  • fuel economy
  • alternative transportation
  • hybrid and electric vehicles
  • idle reduction education
  • partnership building

AACCC is part of a network of more than 87 communities within the US Department of Energy's (DOE's) Clean Cities Program. The Coalition provides education, technical assistance, access to grant funds and other services to assist in the implementation of the Coalition's initiatives. Please explore this website to learn about the Coalition, its initiatives, membership and more.
