Resume Bank

Resume Bank

House Republican offices seeking resumes to fill open positions should contact Cyrus Artz via email or phone (x5-2071).

Thank you for your interest in submitting a resume to the GOP Job Bank.  Due to the high volume of resumes received, there are a number of requirements to meet to ensure that your resume is properly sorted and included in the Bank.  Unfortunately, failure to meet these requirements will disqualify your resume:

  1. Resumes must be in PDF format.  It is not required, but it is strongly recommended that resumes be no longer than one page.
  2. The pdf file must be titled Your Name_Home State_Position Desired.  For example, John_Smith_CA_Legislative_Assistant.pdf or Jane_E_Smith_TX_Chief_of_Staff.pdf
  3. You may only list one home state.  You may determine that state as you desire (where you grew up or attended college, etc.), but you may not list more than one state or submit multiple resumes for the same position.  It is not recommended to list DC, VA, or MD unless you have specific ties to those areas.
  4. You may submit your resume for up to three positions.  A list of positions is below.
  5. All resumes will expire after 30 days and be deleted from the Bank.  If you resubmit your resume in the 7 day period before its expiration, your resume will be extended for 30 days.  You may do so again as each subsequent 30 day period expires if you would like.  If your resume expires, simply resubmit it correctly and it will be added to the Bank again.
  6. Resumes must be submitted by email as an attachment to GOPJobBank@mail.house.gov.  The subject of the email must be identical to the title of the resume PDF file.  For example, John_Smith_CA_Legislative_Assistant.pdf.  Any text in the body of the email will be ignored.

Note: Due to the volume of requests received, the office of Conference Secretary Virginia Foxx cannot accept drop-ins or phone calls related to the GOP Job Bank.  No informational interviews will be granted.

Positions: A description of each position is available from the Congressional Management Foundation.
