The responsibilities of the Operations Branch are to provide administrative services; make available facility management; maintain and track salaries and expense budget; offer Human Resource management; supply property/shipping and receiving/warehouse management; procurement other than IT and Flying and enforce physical security of the building.

Under the Operation Branch are two other sections; Customer Service and Contracting.

The Customer Service Section is responsible for the receipt and processing of orders for aerial imagery products and services; the accounting of the received monies; collections of billings; research for area of interests regarding aerial imagery coverage and as the point of contact for customer order inquiries.

The Contracting Section's responsibilities include aerial imagery acquisition for USDA; FSA and other agencies; the coordination of Cost Share Partnerships and the procurement of service agreements.
