Executive Assistant/Scheduler (2/12/13)
Senior PA Republican seeking Executive Assistant/Scheduler with previous experience as a scheduler on Capitol Hill or Executive Assistant in the private sector. The ideal candidate is highly confident, possesses strong people skills with exceptional attention to detail, is comfortable working in a demanding environment, proven written and oral communication skills and demonstrates maturity and judgment. Pennsylvania ties a plus. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: process all scheduling requests, invitations and events for Member’s calendar for DC and district; respond to all invitations, either by written email correspondence or by personal telephone call;maintain office contact lists; make travel arrangements; handle Member correspondence; ensure the Member is provided with briefing materials for each event by coordinating with event participants and the appropriate legislative and/or district staff;and assist with other executive assistant/office manager duties as assigned . Legislative Correspondent/Press Assistant (2/5/13)

Legislative Assistant (1/22/13)

Conservative Republican Member of Congress seeks an experienced and proactive Legislative Assistant with a background in banking, financial services, and housing issues among others. Internship (2/13/13)
Southern House Republican is accepting applications for spring interns for our Washington, DC office. The internship is available immediately and will continue through May 31st. Qualified applications should have a good work ethic, a strong interest in politics and sound communication skills. Duties include, but are not limited to: providing general constituent services such as answering phone calls and giving tours of the Capitol. Other responsibilities include assisting staff members with legislative or outreach projects, attending hearings and briefings as well as any other tasks that may be assigned. The majority staff of the Committee on Ways and Means is looking for unpaid undergraduate and graduate interns for Summer 2013.  Interns will have the responsibilities of providing legislative and general administrative support and other duties as assigned. Interns will be given opportunities to engage in substantive work, attend hearings and educational briefings, and will in all regards be treated as an integral member of the full-time staff.
