Welcome to the 1st Engineer Battalion, "ALWAYS FIRST"!

In April, 2011, the 1st Engineer Battalion became subordinate to 4th Brigade Combat Team. Previously, it was subordinate to 1st Heavy Brigade Combat Team.

‘Diehards’ conduct gunnery training
A crew with the 1st Eng. Bn. returns after a run on the .50-caliber gunnery range March 15 near Fort Riley’s Multi-Purpose Range. Soldiers with the 1st Eng.
