Department of Energy Goals
The DOE has a goal of reducing its scope 3 GHG by 13% by FY2020 using FY2008 as the baseline. Scope 3 GHG Emissions: Includes greenhouse gas emissions from sources not owned or directly controlled by a Federal agency but related to agency activities, such as vendor supply chains, delivery services, and employee travel and commuting. The Laboratory has set a goal to reduce its scope 3 GHG by 1% in CY2011.
